Is it really true that you can obtain 100% accuracy? I've heard you can't

Try out sniper arrows with a paladin of a sufficiently high distance level, you will see its possible. I am guessing that is what you are talking about?

yeah, i'll do it when I'll get access to target dummies with my paladin.

Haha, those ignorant paladins whining about low hitrate with assassin stars, they should try them out on dummies

I don't know if the hit rate has changed since I wrote the article, it might be possible. But I tested many many assassin stars on dummies during one test server. Hit rate is quite high for them.

Yeah, I've seen a guy accidentiacally using assassin stars for training, and he almost never missed. I'm just whining about all those proposal threads that want assassin stars to have a higher hit chance

I've watched my RP friend hunt from 190-270 and I've never seen him complain about A-star hit rate, he only complains when he grabs his devileye and tries infernal bolt hunts... Any pally complaining about A-stars needs to just delete their character they don't deserve it.

Agreed, assassin stars hit rate is high enough. What I hate about paladins, though, is that we don't have any area attacks (except for exevo mas san). In my view, if we're shooters, we should have a good range of ammo to choose for a particular hunt. For now, really few people use the element arrows, because assassin stars can be used almost everywhere.

About infernal bolts: I think their hit rate should be as high as power bolts is, but they could have an area attack (just like burst arrows) Just an idea 8-)

:pally: ftw!

Yeah, I think A-stars have killed the need for alot of higher paladins to use anything else, especially since they can profit nicely with them half the time anyway.

I am currently doing demon task, hunting in the east Yalahar demon area later at night when not many players are on. I actually hunt with shiver arrows! Hunting this way, I can kill a demon for under 800 gold, and their loot value is around 2000 gold not counting the dust. With stars it costs me about 1250 gold per demon, but then I kill too fast and have to wait for spawn (I have to wait for spawn sometimes even using shiver arrows). Over time the extra 450gp per demon (after 6666 demons) will mean I am 3,000,000 gold richer!

Sometimes I use flash arrows at grim reapers as well, again depending on spawn rate. I think too many people ignore these possibilities and how cheap your hunting can be. It is a nice balance between exp/hr and profit.
